Free Summer Film Class
Four-week intensive film class for Pierce County youth ages 13-18 who show an interest in film-making. Learn the essentials of effective scripting, shooting, directing, lighting, sound and editing under the guidance of professional artist. By the end of the program, you and your team will have create a short film that will be showcased at www.CreateFilms.org.

Film Camp will meet at the Moore Branch (Southend of Tacoma) at 215 S 56th Street.
Date: August 4- August 27th
Time: 1pm – 5pm. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Registration deadline is Monday, July 24th.
All registered students must be willing to attend all sessions shown above and to participate fully in the program. The film-making process moves quickly and missing more than one class could negatively affect individual learning, group productivity, and the overall project.
Editing workstations and software will be available at Tacoma Public Library’s Digital Media Lab, located at 1102 Tacoma Avenue at the Main Branch of Tacoma Public Library. Reservations can be made by contacting jhargis@tacomalibrary.org or by calling (253) 292-2001 ext. 1795.
